OXCR Covid-19 Guidelines & Information

WE ALL MUST FOLLOW THESE GUIDLINES FOR THE 2020 SEASON

We have been given the approval by the Ross Co. Sheriff and Ross Co. Health Dept. to begin the 2020 race season. Without this policy there would be no race. We must follow the following guidelines. There will be a deputy on site to ensure that we are doing so.

Gates open Saturday with a regular race schedule to follow throughout the day. Admission and registration will follow strict social distancing and personal hygiene guidelines, as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The health and safety or our staff, racers & spectators are our top priority. Here are some new directions that we will need to consider before our race and your visit this 2020 season:

Registration Form Must Be Printed Off

Please print off the form and complete it. Bring to registration already filled out to limit contact. NO PENS WILL BE AVAILABLE.

Admission Process:

This series will have a no spectator audience until further notice. This one is a hard one for us as we are a strong family-oriented series. However, we must do what we got to do to protect our loved ones and get back to racing. Who can attend? The racer/rider and two to three immediate family crew members only. No elderly or at high risk should attend.

Upon entry, you will be greeted by staff wearing personal protective mask

Each vehicle will be given a separate liability release/waiver for the occupants to sign and return to staff. Only one release sheet will be used per vehicle. Please provide the correct gate fee NO CHANGE WILL BE GIVEN

Clerks will be seated behind protective barriers for your protection and theirs. Standing positions will be marked 6 feet apart for social distancing. If you do not pre-register you will have to bring the correct race fee. We strongly recommend pre-registering via PAYPAL or Venmo. The entry form will be available to print off on the website. We encourage you to print, sign and return to registration on race day. We ask that only the rider, or in the event of a youth rider their parent, attend registration. Youth riders should not attend registration.NO INK PENS WILL BE AVAILABLE; NO CHANGE WILL BE GIVEN.

We have trash bags if you need one. Please dispose of your trash in the designated area. DO NOT LEAVE ANY TRASH IN YOUR PIT AREA

Park no less than 10 feet apart from your neighbor on all sides.

Please remain in your pit area unless going to/from registration, concessions, or the racetrack. Do not roam or visit your neighbors. Keep a 6′ distance from anyone who did not arrive in the vehicle with you.

We will not be holding podium celebrations until all warnings are lifted. Awards will be available for pick up in the designated area 30 minutes after the next session begins.

Only 1 rider / 1 mechanic on the start line. Due to social distancing concerns, MECHANIC MUST WEAR FACE MASK AND RIDER MUST KEEP THE HELMET ON. Riders wearing helmets are not required to wear a face mask.

No others will be allowed to be at the start line. Find a place to pit along the track and remain there.

Riders must ride alone and may not transport anyone on their bikes, unless they are members of the same household who followed the stay-at-home order together.

Social distancing is very important. That means standing at least 6 feet apart from one another at all times.

Family members who have quarantined together are not expected to social distance from one another.

Wear a face cover when you are unable to social distance or stand 6 feet apart. Bring your own mask.  Just use common sense.

Wash your hands often and use hand sanitizer often.

Please do not offer to shake hands with anyone.

The CDC recommends persons who are sick with fever or cough, the elderly or those at high risk, to stay home. We do too. Please do not attend our event if this is you.

Please take your own temperature before you leave home. If you have a temperature of at least 100.4, you have a fever and should stay home.

If you know you have had contact with someone diagnosed with having COVID-19 in the last 14 days, or you yourself have had COVID-19 in the last 30 days, please stay home.

Respect the local community – wear face masks or shields, gloves and wash your hands when supporting local businesses and the OXCR series. Please follow these guidelines closely. Failure to do so could result in you being escorted from the property and banned from all OXCR events for the remainder of the 2020 season.
